Hiding content

Learn how to hide content items in your Zive platform

Updated this week

Zive allows users with the Moderator role to hide certain content, which has the following effects:

  1. Hidden content items are immediately no longer visible or accessible via Zive.

  2. Hidden content items are immediately no longer considered for Search requests and Assistant prompts.

Hiding content should be seen as a quick fix, in case you notice content that should not be available in your Zive platform, e.g. because it contains outdated or wrong information. For a permanent solution, consider exclusion rules.

How to hide content

You can always hide content via the three dots below a search result and click "Hide from search results"

Managing hidden content

Only users with the "Moderator" role are allowed to hide content. As a moderator you can access all hidden content via the moderator area (INSERT LINK) by selecting Hidden content.

Here you get a full list of all hidden content. By default the list is filtered to content hidden by you, but can be adjusted to also see content hidden by other moderators.

Via the three dots on the right of each line, you can "unhide" content, which removes the hidden status and its implications (s. above), e.g. because you updated the content in the source system and it should be available again.
