Why feedback is important
Zive not only understands and interprets your company's knowledge and data connections. It also uses individual user feedback to continuously improve the underlying knowledge graph and thereby search and AI results.
Additionally, an anonymized list of all feedback is available to Moderators of your workspace to evaluate and improve platform usage and knowledge management.
Give as much feedback as possible
When you search you may find some results or answers extraordinarily helpful and some not so much. Please make sure to use the inline feedback buttons to provide feedback to the platform in order to improve search results and Assistant answers in the future.
In case of a negative review, a small window will pop up where you may further describe the reason for your dissatisfaction with a given result. This is extremely valuable for Moderators to better understand what might be the underlying issue and how this could be fixed.
When and where to give feedback
You can give feedback to different objects within Zive:
Single search result
Feedback to a content item makes sense whenever you find a specific content item extremely helpful or accurate or maybe the opposite, e.g. because the file contains wrong or outdated content
In order to give feedback to a single content item, you can just hover over the result with your mouse and click the thumbs-up/down buttons that appear on the left.
Search result list
If your feedback does not relate to a specific content item but to the list of results that you get for a specific search term or question in the Zive Search, you can also provide feedback to the overall results you receive. This way you can indicate how you perceive the totality of results provided for your search.
For every search you submit we provide the number of results found and the time it took above the results. Here you also find the thumbs-up/down icons next to it.
Assistant answers
Of course also the Zive Assistant is open to feedback. When you like or dislike an answer provided by the assistant, you're feedback is extremely valuable to optimize your platform experience.
For every assistant answer you find icons below of which tow are the thumbs-up/down icons you already know. Additionally, when providing positive feedback the Assistant suggest to create an FAQ, which can be a great option to share an answer from the Assistant with the rest of your organization.
Please note:
Currently, providing feedback on search results is not supported on mobile devices for user experience reasons.
