Understand how the behavior settings impact your Zive platform and the user experience

Updated today

The behavior tab allows you to impact the platform and the behavior of certain features heavily. Therefore it's extremely important for you as an Admin to understand the impact of each of the settings.

Chat assistant name

The chat assistant name is the name for your Zive Chat. The AI will refer to itself, so e.g. when user ask the question "Who are you?" in the Zive Chat it will reply with this name.

System prompt

The default system prompt. Input in this box will be added to every prompt a user sends. You can use it to personalize the AI behavior to specific needs or guidelines. It's a good place to define rules and behaviors that should be applied across all AI features of your Zive platform.

Important: Be careful with adjustment and aware of the impact on all users. We highly recommend to test any adjustments to the system prompt.

Company Context

Here you can add important information about your company. Depending on the configuration via the toggles below the text box, this context is accessible for the AI to consider it.

You can use this to enter a short description of your organization, and add any context that you see as relevant for the AI to provide relevant answers.

The toggles below the box refer to the research settings in a conversation. This way you can define exactly when this context should be considered, and e.g. exclude it for external research to make sure the model ignores your company context and really just considers external sources.

Custom chat instructions

This input is similar to the system prompt above, only with the difference that instructions that you add here will only be applied to the to the "Company search" or the "Web search" respectively.

Using these fields makes sense if you have specific expectations or requirements how the internal or external research should work.

  • Company search example: When using company data make sure to always check the glossary for company specific terms.

  • Web search example: When searching the web always reassure yourself with the user if the search terms make sense.

Important: Similar to the "System prompt" instructions for the research impact all chats and all users! Be aware of this and careful with input and adjustments.

For each of the two research modes you can also decide flexibly if you want to have these instructions only considered in the Zive Chat or also in Zive Assistants and/or Zive Agents.

User system prompts

Activating this toggle allows users to define their own preferences in a system prompt on user level.

On activation the setting will become available in the "Preference" section of the user profile. Each user can activate the feature individually and define their personal system prompt.

Important: This requires responsibility from the users and ideally should come with some information or education on how to use this feature.
