Employee profiles

Learn about employee profiles and how they are populated.

Updated over a week ago

Zive automatically generates a profile for each employee based on the combined data from the various connected data sources. For example, an employee profile may contain a name and job function that comes from the company's identity management system (e.g. MS Entra ID) while information about the employee's position in the org-chart comes from the company's central HR system (e.g. SAP SuccessFactor or Personio).

Employee profiles will never contain information that isn't generally available about a person within the organization.

Accessing employee profiles

Employee profiles can be accessed in multiple ways. Typically, they show up below search results or sources used to generate AI answers. Users can click on an employee's name to open up their profile.

In addition, users can specifically search for "People" in the Zive Search which again gives them access to each employee's profile.

Personal user profile

As a user, when you sign in to Zive using your company's identity provider (e.g. Microsoft 365 or Google Account) Zive will automatically match your user account with your respective employee profile. You can access your personal employee profile through the main navigation.
